HALF-BAKED WISDOM
You will travel far. You might even come back.
Avoid tall dark strangers. Short ones with green heads are much more
interesting.
Normality is for wimps.
Early to bed and early to rise
makes Jack a dull boy.
If you’re tempted to fall on your
sword, don’t. You might miss.
The grass is greener where it is
watered - except in the places where dogs have cocked their legs up.
Think of your age in dog years,
and you’ll probably still be in single figures.
Keep an open mind, but carry an
umbrella.
The next thing you read will change
your life...
HALF-BAKED HAIKU
Is true wisdom found
on a fragment of paper
inside a biscuit?
There's some good lines in the first poem. And the half-baked haiku is good - very clever!
